JENNIFER Lopez today ditched her usual glam look and opted for a baggy sweater and jeans to go shopping.

The singer’s low key look comes after her boyfriend Ben Affleck remains in hot water over the comments he made about his ex wife Jennifer Garner.

JLo chose a more casual look after Ben “blamed” his ex wife for his drinking while they were married.

The 52-year-old actress wore an oversized sweater and ripped blue jeans as she browsed the shops in Beverley Hills.

The Jenny From The Block singer was joined by daughter Emme, 13, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Instead of her usual high heels, the mom-of-two opted for comfortable white sneakers for the outing.

Enjoying some retail therapy, JLo made sure to hit all the major stores, including Christian Dior and Valentino, where she was seen looking at jewelry and being helped out by staff.

Jen’s outing comes after a week of controversy surrounding her boyfriend Ben.

Fans were left astounded when the Batman actor appeared to “blame” his ex wife Jennifer Garner for his alcholosm.

In his interview with shock jock Howard Stern, Ben lifted the lid on his time with Jen G claiming he turned to alcohol because he felt “trapped” in their relationship.

He went on to take a brutal swipe at his ex by saying that if they were still married: “We’d probably be at each other’s throats.

“I’d probably still be drinking. Part of why I started drinking alcohol was because I felt trapped.”

BOOZE BATTLE

Ben has made no secret of his issues with booze and received treatment for alcohol addiction in 2001 and 2017.

Poignantly, in August 2017 after their split, Jennifer was seen driving him to a treatment facility to help him on his journey to recovery.

Ben previously admitted he started drinking more around 2015 and 2016, saying he remained in the marriage for some time because of their children.

He told Stern: “I was like, ‘I can’t leave because of my kids, but I’m not happy, what do I do?’

“And what I did was I drank a bottle of Scotch and fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution.

“But both of us felt like we don’t want this to be the model that our kids see of marriage.”

BACKTRACKING

However, last night Ben backtracked over his comments when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel.

He told chat show host Jimmy that the interpretation of his original comments “hurt my feelings” and assured the audience he would never badmouth his ex.

“I had gone on [the show], said how much we respected each other, cared about each other, cared about our kids, put them first,” said Ben.

“It said that I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism, that I was trapped in this marriage, just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid, awful guy.

“It hurts my feelings.”
