CARRIE Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, revealed she still suffers from “anger and depression” five years after her mom’s tragic death.

The iconic actress passed away on December 27, 2016, at the age of 60 from cardiac arrest.

The American Horror Story actress, 29, took to Instagram to share an undated photo of her mom smiling with a younger Billie while a koala bear hangs near them.

She kicked off lengthy caption: “People always ask me what stage of grief I’m in. And my answer is never simple. I’m in a different stage of grief in each moment of every day. My grief is a multi course meal with many complicated ingredients.

“An amuse bouche of bargaining followed by an anger appetizer with a side of depression, acceptance for the entree and of course a little denial for dessert.

“And that’s how grief should be – all things all at once – actually there is no ‘should’ in grief – grief just is whatever it is for you and that is how it ‘should be.'”

Billie then explained she was sharing this heartfelt post on December 26th instead of the 27th because she is currently in Australia where it is already the fifth anniversary of her mother’s passing.

She added: “What better thing to post for my Momby’s Australian death anniversary (4 words I never thought I’d be putting next to each other?!?) than this picture of her and I with a koala!? Sending my love to anyone out there who needs it.”

Plenty of notable stars were quick to react in the comments section, as Beanie Feldstein wrote: “Love you the most in the world.”

Actress Lily Collins added: “Sending all the love in the world,” while Kaitlyn Dever chimed in, “I love you Billie.”

Billie is currently in Australia filming Ticket to Paradise alongside Hollywood heavyweights George Clooney and Julia Roberts.

BILLIE OPENS UP

The star has been open about her mother’s death in the past as back on the fourth anniversary she once again spoke about her passing.

Alongside a photo of her with her mother, Billie wrote: “Sending my love and strength to everyone out there that’s missing a loved one they’ve lost.

“Especially those of you who have lost someone during this crazy year. You’re not alone.”

CHANGES

Billie has gone Theviraltime a lot of changes since the Star Wars actress passed as back in September 2020 she shocked fans when she announced she had given birth to a baby boy with fiancé Austen Rydell after a secret pregnancy.

She got engaged to Austen in June 2019 and the proud future groom shared the news on his Instagram.

Just one day after Carrie died, Billie’s grandmother, film star Debbie Reynolds, passed.
